What we collect at checkout
When you order from us, we collect your name, email address, postal address, phone number, and payment details. Your card numbers go straight to our payment processor - we never see or store them.
We also collect a bit of data when you visit the site (pages viewed, device and browser, roughly where in the world you connected from). We don't tie that back to a named person.
Why we collect it
To process your order and get the mag to you. To send you the confirmation and shipping updates. To keep tax records (we're legally required to). To improve the site over time.
If you've signed up to our newsletter, we'll also use your email to send you drop announcements and the occasional update. One-click unsubscribe in every email.
Who else sees it
We share information with the third-party services we use to run theINmag: our shop platform, our payment processor, our printers, our shipping carriers, our email platform, and our analytics. We share only what each provider needs to do its job, and we've vetted them all for Australian (or equivalent) privacy compliance.
We don't sell your information to anyone. We never will.
We may share information if we're legally required to, or where it's necessary to protect a child or report suspected harm.
How long we keep it
Order records: 7 years (for tax). Newsletter records: until you unsubscribe, then deleted within 30 days. Site analytics: aggregate data kept indefinitely, but not linked to named people.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything that's wrong, or ask us to delete it (where we're not legally required to keep it). Email  and we'll respond within 30 days.
If you're ordering from inside the European Union or the United Kingdom, GDPR rights also apply, including data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your country's data protection authority.

Our site uses cookies for essential functions (cart, checkout) and basic analytics. You can turn them off in your browser, but parts of the site (like the cart) might not work properly.
